Mayra is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who received her Master of Communication Science and Disorders degree from Emerson College in 2022. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Mayra has worked in Early Intervention, Schools, and Private Practice. Before becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, Mayra worked in schools for over 10 years in various roles, including teaching students with Autism and Adapted Physical Education.

Mayra is passionate about providing client and family-centered care, education, and increasing advocacy in implementing Evidence-Based Practice, including the client’s beliefs, wishes, and values.

In her free time, Mayra enjoys spending time with her husband and pups, traveling, reading, and cooking.
